Homemade Indian Cuisine
I love Indian food.
Step 5: Finish sauce with heavy cream and simmer over low heat until thoroughly combined.
Ever since my partner and I went on our first date to the Sherpa House in Golden and I had my first Indian food experience, I have been obsessed with it.
I have always looked for a way to recreate my favorite Indian dishes at home. When I looked at recipes online, I learned how much truly goes into creating such flavorful and unique dishes.
The recipes looked so time consuming and ingredient heavy that I never bothered to put in the effort to make it.
But recently, I stumbled upon a spice packet that changed everything.
Not only did the Mile High Masala spice packet come with two spice packets that seasoned both the marinade and the sauce, it also came with a complete list of other ingredients I needed to create the dish, as well as detailed instructions that outlined the process of creating this delicious meal.
I'll be sharing a little bit of how it works in practice, but if you want the full ingredients and instructions, be sure to check out Mile High Masala for this recipe and many others!
So here's my process!
Step 1: Combine ingredients for marinade with first spice packet. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Step 2: Add marinated chicken to hot pan and cook thoroughly.
Step 3: Start the base of the sauce with other spice packets. Heat until combined.

I absolutely love trying different cuisines! and what bugged me about reading your post is I don't know if I've ever tried Indian food! Every time my family and I go out for dinner we usually just stick with what we know. That is usually Mexican or Chinese food. This sounds delicious though and the restaurant you motioned also has me intrigued. If you had to compare Indian food to anther type of food would it be? and do you have any recommendations for good Indian food here in Greeley?
ReplyDeleteI am an adventurous eater at times but Indian food and the spices that surround it make me weary to try. I honestly have never tried or thought about Indian Cuisine but after reading your blog, it definitely intrigues me. Living in Greeley it definitely makes me wonder what good places are around to eat at, any suggestions?
